Review – Becky and Lolo Wall Sticker

Decorating your baby’s nursery has to be one of the most fun parts of waiting for their arrival. It’s an excuse to pick out pretty patterns, personalise their room and make the whole experience seem more real.

When we were looking at nursery sets they seemed so expensive and we didn’t really want everything too ‘matchy-matchy’. We did, however, want something bright and colourful that added a big dose of visual interest.

I loved the idea of having a big mural on the wall but neither my husband or I have any artistic talent so the idea of painting one was out. Then I remembered my friend had used some wall stickers in her hallway and they looked really impressive so I started searching for some kid’s ones which is when I stumbled across Becky and Lolo.

Their stickers are fun, lively and the one we chose – Scroll Tree Wall Sticker by Roomates - went well with the bright yellow paint we had picked out for our gender neutral room. One of the great things about them is that they come with a ‘paint by numbers’ guide for creating the picture on the packet. But you can also easily move parts around and create your own image. We mainly stuck with the one on show but moved some of the animals across the room to the side of the cot and also used some on the front of the changing table.

The stickers stick on easily and securely but can also be peeled off and moved without any hassle or damage to the paint. As it has such high impact we have kept all the other elements in the room really simple and at £36 it was an economical way to decorate our pumpkin’s nursery. I just hope he/she likes it!
